Bikepacking Buddies Europe Series

The EuroVelo network is an ambitious and comprehensive system of long-distance cycling routes that crisscross the European continent. Developed by the European Cyclists’ Federation, the network aims to promote sustainable travel, cultural exchange, and active tourism across Europe. It consists of 17 routes, each with its own unique theme and path, connecting over 40 countries and covering more than 90,000 kilometers when fully completed.

Each EuroVelo route is designed to be suitable for touring cyclists of varying experience levels, with many sections already offering high-quality infrastructure such as dedicated bike lanes, signage, and support services. The routes traverse a rich variety of landscapes—coastlines, rivers, mountains, plains, and forests—while passing through bustling cities, historic towns, and remote villages.
